Chapter 4: Accident

Twilight and Applejack watched as Spike ran to up to where Rarity was dancing and, turning to her partner, said, "Pardon me, good sir, but might I - ahem - cut in?"
"Oh, uhh..." he stuttered in surprise, but Rarity interrupted him. "Why, of course I'll dance with my dear widdle Spikey-Wikey," she cooed. "Thank you for dancing with me, Distant," she said, giving him a curt nod and a sincere smile. He smiled back and gave her a deep bow as he backed away.
"The pleasure's all mine," he said with a farewell grin.
Rarity giggled as she turned to dance with Spike. "Oh, Spike," she said, "isn't Distant just so kind and polite?"
Spike was obviously annoyed at their flirtation. "Is he now?" he said sarcastically.
"Oh Spike! Didn't you say you had something for me?"
A big smile spread across his face at this. "Oh yeah!" he said. "One sec'!"
He ran over to the table where he had left the little wrapped box before asking Rarity to dance. He was so excited!

Chapter 3: Led AstrayRarity stepped off of the train at the Ponyville train station, followed by Spike, who was carrying all of her luggage – ten to twenty suitcases worth (he had never bothered to count all of them), plus one more of his own.

"Thank you for carrying my luggage, Spike. You're such a gentledragon!"

"Y-yes, of course. Anything for y-you, Rarity."

He grunted under the strain but he didn't mind the weight, for he was determined to prove his love to his dear Rarity. He would show her that his love was stronger than the weight of eleven or twenty-one suitcases (or some amount within that range). He would show her! He would prove it to her!

Chapter 2: LiesThe very next afternoon, Twilight went back to the hospital. She went straight to his room, but he wasn't there.

"Excuse me," Twilight asked the plump mare behind the front desk, "but can you help me? I'm looking for a patient named Distant. Do you know where I can find him?"

The mare read lazily through a list on a clipboard before turning back to her and answering in a drolling, monotone voice.

"I'm sorry, there is no patient here by that name."

"Oh, was he released already?"

"Miss, there is no patient by that name on here. This list has all the names of all the patients we've had for the past week."

"There must be some kind of mistak

Hmm...

I might do this; that is if no-one else is doing it. This is mainly because I haven't fully paid you back for that huge mammoth of a compliment you gave me awhile ago.

So is anyone doing this yet?

Oh, and just to note, the bed would probably be the easiest. The hardest is Rarity's fluicious mane with the seemingly millions of gradient fills in it.

Fluicious exists... it mean it has a lot of 'flow.'

The compliment of how you put me on the list of artist whom you are going to draw a requested 'Christmas gift' for. I'll never forget that.

Unfortunately, this idea has completely slipped my mind. You see, I entered into a drawing competition. As of typing this, I have only one day to complete the work, and based on my calculations, I'll complete it exactly on time.

When I'm finished with it, I'll most definitely consider vectoring this up for you.
