Why do I get so sad when i try to draw
Relying on Motivation is Dumb
I've been waiting to be in the mood to draw again for... I dunno, a year?
It just doesn't come.
I really need to stop waiting and just do it. I want to be able to put my heart and soul into every drawing I do, but that just isn't practical. I need to be willing to draw even when I'm not feeling it.
Of course, the problem goes a bit deeper than that. I've had problems with dissociating wants and goals and actions and steps and motivation and blah blah blah etc. for a long time.
I guess I just need to decide that I'm not going to let my feelings dictate my actions anymore.
Stealing/Copying Art Without Permission isn't Cool
Joey-Darkmeat (https://www.deviantart.com/joey-darkmeat) was a big inspiration to me. When I first started drawing, he was a pretty well-known pony artist. I'm not sure if he's been forgotten or not, since he eventually fell out of drawing ponies and then unfortunately disappeared altogether soon after.
That's why it's sad to see his art copied without permission.

I'm thinking about taking (a few) requests. Pretty dang exciting, actually! XD
I've been dying to start drawing again and I figure that if I can't seem to draw for myself anymore, maybe I can draw for my friends and watchers! I'm sure my motivation will come back soon, but in the meantime I want to keep drawing.
These are going to be requests in the exact sense of the word. I withhold the right to refuse any request made, if I feel the need (even if I had previously accepted it).
As to what quality is to be expected, please refer to my gallery. I can't do anything with color (yet) and I don't really want to ink anything. I am better at dra
